All hail king Malcolm!

Oh what a glorious day for Scotland! Macbeth has been dethroned, he has been dethroned I say! I defeated the horrible Macbeth in battle. It had to be done. Scotland was suffering under the reign of Macbeth. Malcolm and I could not take it anymore! He caused a lot of grief and tyranny to the people of Scotland. So when Malcolm brought up the idea to take back Scotland there was no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t pass up on this opportunity. After Macbeth killed my family I had nothing left but Scotland and it’s worth fighting for. Not only that, but there was only one person who is suitable to be king, that is Malcolm! With the help of the English army we were able to dethrone Macbeth!  Malcolm is the type of person fit to be king. He is honest, unselfish, and trustworthy and has the best interest of Scotland in mind. I can see why the late Duncan would want Malcolm to be King. With King Malcolm in power I see no reason to believe that the people of Scotland have nothing to worry about. Malcolm has a lot of potential and will be able to relate to the people of Scotland. Malcolm’s parents were very righteous people and for that, I believe he will be able to bring a lot of restoration to the nation of Scotland. I dearly hope that the say “Like Father, Like Son” comes into play here. King Duncan was great king and I expect no less from his son, King Malcolm.

My poor family has been slain!

I am lonely like the man in this picture with my family dead
I have been told the most wretched news ever! Something a man should never hear. It had all started when I left Scotland and my family behind to go and help Malcolm win his throne back, at first Malcolm tested me to see if I was not tricking him.  Malcolm told me of his ‘true’ natures, dear Scotland would have been doomed if Malcolm truly possessed such horrifying traits. Thankfully none of it was true but I shall tell you the horrific news now.

It has been told by Ross that the horrifying tyrant Macbeth has slain my entire family, even the babies. What can I do now? Greif is eating at my heart, but Macbeth will soon feel the same pain .It all started when the tyrant Macbeth found out that I was no longer loyal to him he went to my Castle to murder me, but upon finding out that I was no longer there but with Malcolm in England, he promptly killed my wife and kids.  Macbeth has no children so he would never know the pain he has caused me. When I found out this news I cried tears of sorrow, for all my loved ones had been murdered.  As I cried Malcolm comforted me by promising me the death of my families’ murderer, Macbeth. Beware Macbeth for I shall come after you; even if your death promises my death then so be it.

Bye Bye- Mariah Carey
I chose this song because this song is about losing somebody close to you. It’s about trying to accept that their gone and missing them.  When I first heard the news I kept making sure that it was everyone in my family who died because I didn’t want them to be gone.

There is only one way to save Scotland...

I've fled to Northumberland, England
That treacherous Macbeth does not deserve to be king! Scotland only suffers under his rule, and its people live constant fear. He should be well aware of where my loyalties lie since I chose to not attend the feast. I am almost sure he was the one who killed the gracious Duncan. From what I’ve heard, it appears he’s killed Banquo as well. And he even tried to blame it on Fleance like he did Duncan’s children! Is there no end to this man’s greed? He can’t expect us to believe those excuses are true, seeing as both sound so similar and he has only benefited from the deaths. I’ve decided there’s only one way to save Scotland; I’ve fled to England. I must find Malcolm and convince him to take his rightful place as King of Scotland. Then we must ask King Edward and Lord Siward for their help in overthrowing Macbeth. A messenger has already informed me that Macbeth has summoned me to Scotland, however I have refused. He said I would regret it, but there is no way I can let Macbeth continue to harm others. I’ve been forced to leave my family alone and vulnerable, but the risk is necessary in order to return peace back to Scotland. The love for my family is only exceeded by my love for Scotland. I only hope I am swift enough before the tyrant commits any greater sins…

O horror! Our king is dead!

Oh, the murder of Duncan is so devastating! Who would have committed such a treacherous thing to such a capable king? I could only suspect three people.
I strongly believe that the murderer may have well been Macbeth. His mannerism after the murder seemed rather suspicious.  After some bloody evidence was found on the chamberlains, Macbeth had proclaimed “O, yet I do repent me of my fury, that I did kill them.” I paused for a moment and thought about it, his response was rather unusual. In addition, he kept talking and mentioning how he was not able to control his feelings of loyalty to Duncan and how he was furious enough to kill irrationally. Although to me…it sounded more like he was justifying, instead of crying out real passion. However, there are still two other suspects to consider.
It may have well been Duncan’s two sons as well, Malcolm and Donalbain. I told Ross about their takeoff to different countries and my cousin responded about how thriftless ambition may have taken Duncan’s life away. I guess that conclusion may have been possible. It’s likely that the two sons murdered their father to receive the throne, as they fled as well, making it seem all the more suspicious.
I have not concluded who the murderer might be. But whoever it may be; let them hope that I should not discover their identity, because if I were to, I would seek revenge for Scotland on the murderous deed!
